So ok,I'm new and this forsure has "western vibe" all day. You'll be tended to, taken care of and smiled all day, it's honestly great. (*I'll have to update on the food quality shortly later) I would though like to first note that this establishment charges in U.S dollars. Not local currency. Idk if other spots regularly do thos depending on location but I'd just wish they mentioned on the meñu is all. Foreognors don't know what rate they're paying for but if you're abroad I'd asume it's *usually* priced in their local money, right? Unless otherwise stated? Not too far off?
No it was double, and ok that's on me.
I guess now I should ask everyone what rate is being charged but I just thought I'd note it here is all.
I get I'm new, I don't get the areas yet or their pricings, but just know I would have gone elsewhere for my food if I had know it.
If you want a beach and at the hotel close by then by all means pay the upcharge, but I jist wanted some asian food and you can get the same elsewhere for half the price. We'll see about the taste shortly tho.

The food is so bad that we had to leave the resort to eat. There are no reservations for restaurants at the Mariott Beach Resort-this "lounge" encompasses 2 different restaurants; we were sat by a hostess and then a server came and said we could not sit there as a couple was waiting for that table. We stood next to the table for 5 minutes to verify that. Another server came by and sat us back at the same table and gave us menus. We were ordering and another server interrupted and asked us to move. We then ordered food and - no joke - 60 minutes later, it arrived cold. I don't mean a little warm, but cold. The fries, polenta, chicken satay and the octopus were cold to the touch. The server touched the food to verify the temperature and said that it would be remade and they would comp the dessert. I did not want free food, just something to eat. The food came again to us 27 minutes later, this time cooked well. The octopus, fries and polenta were all fine. Since it was now after 9 PM and the way that the entire situation was handled, I had no appetite. I then read the reviews of the restaurant regarding cold food and long waits as common complaints. It may be fine for drinks and snacks at the bar, but for a real meal - no. We left each night and walked nearby to Pirate Bay Restaurant, De Visserij Piscatera, Tomatoes Pizza and Bientu Steak and Fish. All were way better restuarants than anything we had at the Curacao Mariott Beach Resorts restuarants.

Located in the Marriott. Ate there a few times during our stay. Fish burger was really good. A lot of options and open pretty late. Drinks and service were great and you can’t beat the open air beachy atmosphere.

Food was good.
Prices are high for such small portions.
Need a bigger food selection for menu.
Staff were nice and friendly.
Spent $150 for 3 of us.
Would recommend for 1 night dinner.
Good bar for drinks.
Cool fish tank television screen.
