I've been going to Woolworth for decades, it's a one stop shop for all your needs...from stationery, personal care, housewares, souvenirs, clothing department upstairs including for babies, toys and the ever popular back to school store...their latest addition is light grocery items for your convenience.
This variety store is generally well stocked, a clean and comfortable atmosphere in which to shop with helpful and accommodating staff, location is ideal in the heart of historical Bridgetown the capital...and has become a Barbadian staple and a treasure for generations.

Woolworth is thriving here as it is in Berlin and other places. I bought my first transistor radio here over 50 years ago. They still have great bargains especially in souvenirs, wall hangings and general housewares. Well worth a stop.
