I went to Wet & Salty to take the ASA 104 bareboat cruising course. The experience was better than I could have hoped for. The instructor was a very experienced sailor who was great at not only teaching what was in the book, but providing pragmatic sailing instructions based on his decades of sailing experience. He also provided the students with ample opportunity to experience the beauty of the Barbados coast
Many of the people I sail with have gone to the BVI for their 104 certification. However, I would highly recommend Wet & Salty for truly top-level training, as well as to experience the beauty and friendliness of Barbados.

We just completed an amazing 6-day liveaboard ASA 103/104 course with Wet & Salty Adventure Sailing School in Barbados, and it was absolutely brilliant. Sailing with Wipers was an incredible experience—we learned a ton of practical skills on the water. What made the trip truly special was that we not only had time for world-class sailing instruction, but also for snorkeling and exploring the different parts of the island where we anchored overnight. It was such a unique experience that we will always remember. Thank you to Marianna, Wipers, and the team for an unforgettable adventure!

My wife and I sailed with Captain Logan on Feb 19, 2026. It was a wonderful experience for two 80 year old seniors where we were on the helm, learned much about the 32 foot yacht "Less Stress", and sailing in general. During the sail we stopped and snorkeled at a ship wreck where lots of fish were present. Logan helped us to get in and out if the boat never losing his cool. Whether beginners like us or experienced sailors Wet and Salty can fit the experience to you. Barbados is a wonderful place to sail and we would definitely do this again. Mike Robinson & Kathryn Abel

What a team Wet & Salty are!! Led by the captain Marianne, Skippers' "Wipers", James and Logan have everything covered from professionalism, humour, passion for sailing and safety. My husband and I enjoyed a week on board with the legend " Wipers" and enjoyed instruction, coastal races, Round Barbados race and the fun evenings post all races culminating in the red cap party, a night fuelled on mount gay rum punches and the meeting of crew from all boats sharing stories, singing and dancing on the beach. Just WOW! Thanks to all for making it a week we will never forget on "Less Stress" X

Wet and Salty created an incredible opportunity during Barbados Sailing Week by opening the door for people looking to gain more sailing experience to join a regatta crew skippered by a Wet and Salty instructor.
As someone still relatively new to sailing, this made the experience both accessible and confidence-building. Our skipper and instructor, James, was wonderful. He’s skilled, calm, supportive, and a great leader on the water. He created an environment where everyone could contribute, learn, and enjoy the racing.
The team culture was fantastic and the overall experience struck the perfect balance between learning, teamwork, and pure fun. Being part of the Fadeaway crew for the coastal races and finishing the week on the winning cruising class team was truly special.
