From the warm welcome that we received from Sasha, to ultimately receiving the final diagnosis by Dr. Connell my family and I received comprehensive and compassionate care that makes the Connell Clinics easy to recommend. Dr. Connell’s expertise, empathy and clear communication style made what would have been an otherwise difficult time feel seamless and lighter than expected.

Many of us have the perception that when we go to a more expensive medical facility, we would be treated better. However, the Connell's Clinic would prove you wrong. The customer service in that place is deplorable. If it's an emergency and you have to go there, ensure that you save your receipt in a cool dry place. Thank me later!

Connell Clinic: ask you to turn up 15 mins early then wait at least an hour. No apology or expectation setting, just shrugging. I complained & was told to try another clinic. Best advice from this clinic!

I should say in advance that I am a medical doctor myself with many years of clinical and practical experience. At first glance everything started quite well. Competent initial consultation and professional endoscopy. But after the endoscopic examination, which was very profitable for him, dr Connell was no longer available for me. The request for a follow-up interview due to persistent complaints and to discuss the results was declined by the staff several times, after consultation with Dr. Connell. As a desperate patient, I at least asked for a call back and sat on the phone for three days waiting. Unbelievable seven days after the biopsy result, Dr. Connell called me. Not primarily to discuss the results, but to complain in a shockingly aggressive tone that I had asked for further contact with him. I wouldn’t have any right for that, because I would have a rare, but non-life-threatening illness. Not a single time during the call he did ask about my symptoms. This was a uniquely negative experience. Not only does dr Connell urgently need to improve the organization of his practice, but he also needs to rethink his medical and ethical stance. For the benefit of his patients, his employees and above all for his own future as a physician.

The customer service here is horrible. I called to make a query about lab results I had gotten done a few weeks ago; at my initial visit I was told the results would take about a week to be returned. After a week had passed I didn’t receive a call or an update. I allowed another week to pass just to give the lab some time before calling. When I finally reached out I was informed by the receptionist that she hasn’t seen any results and I should call ChemScreen to confirm. After calling ChemScreen I was told the results were ready some time ago and I should call to double check with the receptionist. After this back and forth the receptionist told me that the doctor probably has them however, she is only in on Tuesdays or Thursdays so I can call on one of those days. Taking this advice I did just that. At the point of calling I was told that the doctor wasn’t in as yet and was asked to leave a name and number. This was at 9am. I told the receptionist that I’d call back as the end of the day was approaching. When I did call back, I explained that I have been trying to call and I’m awaiting results. I told her my name and the doctor I’d like to speak to. After hearing this doctor was unavailable for the umpteenth time, I told her I was unsatisfied with the back and forth I’ve been experiencing. She then proceeds to say “so what you want me to do? What you want from me” I expressed that I did not like her tone to which she replied “I don’t like yours either” to which she then hung up in my ear. As I am typing this I still cannot believe this is how I was dealt with at a private healthcare facility which is supposed to be a “better experience” after paying hundreds of dollars to be met with cold, unprofessional customer agents. I saw another review that also complained about the process of receiving their results. I will never attend here again which is such a shame because the facility itself is nice and clean and Tawala that works at ChemScreen was such a nice personality and made the phlebotomy experience a lot more enjoyable.
