Shop regularly at this store for our own mini grocery. 5 weeks ago I bought a case of vitamalt but on returning the empty bottles I was advised I had to buy something. OK no problem but today I see an item advertised on the shelf at $11 but at the till its $11.50 and the staff tell me I have to pay the till price. I express the trading standards statement but they say I don't have to buy it.

The shopping experience was okay to the point when I tried to pay for the items. The total was $9.40. I had my debit card as payment. The cashier said I must purchase $20 to swipe the card. She called the supervisor who said the system is set up to take $20 and over purchases for debit cards. I asked the supervisor if the manager was there. She told me with an attitude the manager was not there. When I enquired about the owner she said she did not know if the owner was there. You cannot force customer to purchase more money than they need to. It is wrong. As a matter of fact the card company assured about 1 year ago that businesses with this practice will loose the service.

Although while still under construction l found parking easily, the very helpful and efficient staff help me to find my items and for the items l needed that were not available they offered an array of suitable alternatives. It's well worth a visit.

Once a popular shopping venue, but the reason for the fall-off tell me, anybody. Besides the long construction that's been going on for a while now with might be the case. But I hope to see a comeback someday.

The customer service is normally excellent. The price of its products vary(some of the prices are quite reasonable; others not so much).
All in all it is worth taking the time to check it out.
