I do not give bad reviews often but on this occasion I felt compelled to do so. The chap at the bar was one of the rudest and most dismissive people I have met in some time. The menu looked promising with a good variety of dishes but unfortunately the food was equally bad. One of the dishes that came out was entirely inedible. We are not fussy eaters but this was by far the worst meal i’ve had in Barbados and hugely overpriced.

Four of us had lunch here and whilst it is rustic and expensive for what it is, it's in a great setting and has a charm to it! Service was slow even by Barbados standards but the staff were polite and helpful. The food was basic but tasty and nicely cooked.

A great beach shack restaurant located on the heart of Payne’s bay beach. We got a sharing platter for 2 and it was very good value for money - the food was prepared fresh and tasted amazing. The cocktails were reasonably priced too. The atmosphere was lovely with music playing in the background and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. 10/10!

Stopped here for the day and hired sunbeds and an umbrella. 40BDS for all 3 which we thought was a fair price. We didn't eat here as felt that the guy who sorted our sunbeds and ran the bar was rude and the menu was too overpriced to put up with his miserable face. Had 2 rounds of drinks though and was 16 BDS for 2 sprite. Second round was 2 cocktails which should have been 38BDS and he charged 44BDS. Couldn't be bothered to argue as his stance and attitude really put us off . We are regulars to Barbados and would not got here again. Plenty of other beaches with much friendlier people.

This is a message to the old man that works behind the bar: you are incredibly rude to customers, it’s disgraceful that you have been are allowed to get away with it for so long. Every time I visit your negative attitude remains unchanged.
