Reading some of the reviews, I wonder if we were staying at the same hotel. Everything was great from the greeting we received on arrival to the day we left. The staff were extremely helpful, good selection of food & drinks. Good size rooms & well kept . Plenty of sun beds at time of day, daily change of beach towels if required. Would definitely return to this hotel.

This was the first time in Barbabos and not the last. The Club Barbados was on a hunch but it far exceeded expectations. All the staff were really friendly and attentive. We had an ocean view loft room overlooking the sea with beautiful sunsets (note small additional staircase). The food was fabulous and plenty of variety.
Sandy Lane beach is round the corner and easy to reach and we had beautiful morning walks on the beach.
There is free use of beach towels and snorkels and a complimentary 30 min sailing trip which is a must do.
Lots of options to see the island. Easy to stay in the hotel but worth seeing Harrison caves and the Nature Reserve and of course Ostins.
Best thing was the resort is very relaxed. There is only smart/ casual wear for dinner and don't need to overdress!
Try the Bob Marley cocktail!

This is an update after my initial review, the General Manager (Caroline) sought me out to make things right & I truly appreciate her efforts more than she'll ever know. This trip was the start of new things for me, it started out rough but Caroline (GM), servers (Marie & Leah) made me feel a bit better. Thank you all, best wishes & may God bless you.

Very disappointed in this hotel and here is why - 90% of the staff was extremely rude, especially the wait staff in the dining room. I ordered a Diet Coke and 20 mins later they brought the drink along with some ice. I said thank you and put some of the ice in my glass (with my fingers) and then the other waitress said that’s for another table and took it and gave that dirty ice to someone else.
This was an all inclusive hotel- when we arrived, we have 4 bottles of water in our room. 3 days in, I asked if we could have a couple more waters- I was told no- if you want more bottled water you can buy it in the gift shop. I do not understand that one at all.
Another thing, they do not really clean you room- they make the bed and that is it! They do not refresh your towels. I walked down after a couple days and asked if we could have fresh bath towels, pool towels (you get 1 per person for your entire stay), & wash cloths. They gave us 2 bath towels and that was it. Even left the old ones.
They were not accommodating at all and made us feel like anytime we asked for something we were bothering them. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because there was a nice Gentleman at front when we were leaving and a held our bags for us and because the spa treatment, although at first when I tried to book, the lady was rude but when I went in for my treatments, they were nicer. Food was mediocre at best. My stay was Nov 2025.

Would definitely stay here again and recommend. If you’re looking for a 5 star resort pampering to every whim with top of the line facilities at every corner, you might be a little disappointed. However we felt it was perfect for us. Smaller. Quaint. Clean and kept up well. Had everything we needed. Excellent location. Very safe. Good entertainment. Friendly staff overall. Food was not spectacular but good. Drinks were great and free flowing (loved the coffee bar). Beautiful views with one of the best beaches right next door. Loved the whole experience and will probably stay here next time we go to Barbados.
