The Caboose is a fresh fish cutter stand and a fun hidden gem in Barbados. If you were to take a walk from Speightstown along the coast road towards the old abandoned Heywoods Village, you’d stumble across what looks like a landlocked weather worn, brightly painted, fishing boat; located on a sand covered lot. Take a closer look and you see it’s a trendy hangout spot where locals and tourists alike can gather, have a fresh fish sandwich, Banks Beer or delight in their popular Rum Punch and just shoot the breeze.

If you are in Barbados, you have to try this Fish Cutter sandwich! Loaded is the way to go and wash it down with an ice cold Banks Beer or a rum punch. Great breeze and you’re across the street from the beach and a pier. Enjoy!!

One of the best fish cutters I’ve ever tasted, and the drinks are reasonably priced. If you're visiting Barbados, I highly recommend stopping by The Caboose. The food was flavorful, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a must-visit spot while on the island.

Best fish Cutters on the island. Definitely recommend getting the fully loaded. I pretty much come here every single day and if I don't come here I'm at Ali's One Love Kitchen. Definitely the 2 best restaurants in Barbados. Both places have the coldest beer on the island LOL

So I don’t normally get to eat sandwiches because I’m gluten intolerant. So I brought my own gluten-free bread because I heard their fish sandwich was so amazing that I had to try it. When I brought my own bread and told him my plan is to swap he just answered my bread and made my sandwich in it. Because I was eating bread that didn’t hurt my stomach, and it was made exactly the way it was intended. It was definitely one of the best sandwiches I’ve had.
Outside of that, though just the level of service, the conversation meeting the owner hearing his story it was truly amazing. If you get a chance, ask how they started their business there. It reminds you that you can do anything you love to do if you have a vision. I loved the story so much. I bought a T-shirt.
First stop next time I’m in Barbados.

Nice area .. sea view nearby… best fish tasted so far, made with potatoe bread buns, Had with salad and fried egg.. like l told them when he apologies for a bit of wait..”told them it was well worth the wait! Yummy!
