If you happen to be in Barbados and want to experience in-villa dining , Barrie is your man. The Black Urchin- offers a variety of options and each course is an experience in and of itself. From Octopus to linguine and everything in between was so delicately crafted and explosive yet elegant in flavor. We had the 4 course meal the first night and three course meal the second night. The experience is memorable and we will be back to explore more of Barrie’s culinary arts. Thank you for a delectable adventure in Bajan fusion cuisine.

The Black Urchin rocks! We had an amazing experience with our in-home chef dinner! From start to finish, everything was handled with such professionalism and creativity. The food was absolutely delicious—beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. It truly felt like a fine dining experience in the comfort of our villa. What really stood out was how fun and relaxed the evening felt. The Barrie was not only incredibly talented but also personable and engaging, adding to the overall enjoyment of the night. It was such a unique and memorable way to celebrate a meal on holiday. We would definitely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something special!

We went for the Saturday Vietnamese dinner. 5 courses. Started with a shrimp spring roll, Very tasty but were given 2.....which we ate. Then the beef satay in the lettuce wrap. Also very tasty and again served 2....which we ate. Third course a chicken salad...OMG loved the flavors bit was getting full. The phoa with tenderloin beef was a generous serving. Compared to the other dishes this was our least favorite as the broth flavors were very mild. but still good. I tasted the dessert but was so full I truely couldn't eat any more. It was a most enjoyable evening and hope when we return to do another underground dinner with Chef Barrie and Paulina

Chef Barrie made us multiple lunch and dinner meals, delivered directly to our vacation villa. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared, and our whole family enjoyed the food. From fresh salads with seared tuna to a chicken stew with coconut rice, and a seafood pasta, everything was wonderful. We look forward to visiting Barbados again, and to working with Chef Barrie and the Black Urchin. Cheers!

This little non-descript booth located on the lower level of Haymans Market in Speightstown serves some of the best fish cutters (sandwiches) on the island! I'm not sure what they put in that sauce, but man, I could drink that stuff. I had the barracuda cutter and literally didn't put it down until it was gone. The service is friendly, professional, and informative. I'm sure as they continue to grow they will work on providing more beverage options and maybe make the sign above the booth a bit more visible (can be a bit difficult to find). Overall an amazing little lunch spot that I will definitely be returning to next time I'm on the island! Highly recommend.
