Newly reopened, this laid back and relaxed restaurant was a surprise delight! The quality of the food was exceeded only by the warm and welcoming staff. The mains were delicious but the chocolate cake and coconut bread pudding were to die for!! Definitely recommend!!

The restaurant experience was great! The restaurant has a new menu and had only been reopened for 4 days. At the time, they were only set up to serve hotel guests but they accommodated us (walk ins), they only accepted cash. The coconut bread pudding with rum sauce was amazing, heavy on the rum. Server was friendly.

After a full day of sightseeing, the restaurant at Beach View Hotel is the perfect spot to unwind. Tucked in under cool tents, you’ll enjoy this quaint spot with a menu featuring pizzas, fresh salads, fish, and more—there’s something for everyone. The drinks are refreshing and arrive fast, but don’t expect the same speedy service for the food—it took quite a while, even with an empty dining room. That said, the food is definitely worth the wait. If you’re not in a hurry, relax, enjoy the tree frogs' serenade, and take in the beautiful scenery while you wait!

Whilst staying at the Beach View Hotel we ate breakfast every morning and the food was excellent. Favourites of ours were the veggie omelette and toast and the pancakes with either berries and cream or bacon, hash browns and syrup. We also had pizzas for lunch whilst having a lazy day at the pool. All the staff were really helpful, friendly and obliging and always had a good morning and a smile for us every morning. A credit to the cafe.

We absolutely loved this place. I'm guessing people are still discovering Sugar Apple, hence the few reviews. I had the tuna tartare as starter, the flavors were exquisite. I then followed with a seared snapper that was out of this world as well. Sugar Apple beats several waterfront ritzy restaurants we've been to hands down. Out of respect (I will withhold their names!), but they're squarely second tier to Sugar Apple. We're heading back day after tomorrow. Note to the chef and all the staff at Sugar Apple, you made our evening exceptional! Thank You!
