The food here is incredible. You walk into what feels very much like a traditional rum shop and out onto a terrace with the most beautiful views. The kitchen is small so the wait can be long especially without a reservation but the food was among the best I have ever tried in Barbados. I had the snapper and breadfruit cou cou. The portions are large but I had to clean my plate. The lady behind the bar was so friendly and entertaining. She mad ethe visit even more enjoyable.

Took my Jamaican GF to Barbados from NY for her Bornday. My cuzz took us up there and we cleared off some good eats. Great views and a nice breeze from the coast.

Nice restaurant bar of the beaten path. Really good food at reasonable price. The restaurant is placed on a hill in the middle of the island and you get a great view of the countryside.

Starting with the good, the food was delicious, everything was well cooked and seasoned - the fried pot fish, souse and pudding in particular. No complaints about the food at all.
Now for the bad, the service was significantly lacking to say the least. It took over an hour for the food to come after ordering it and one dish was missing. We had to check with the staff multiple times on the status of this but communication with the staff was short and unclear - one of our party was left sitting there without food and by the time it was ready, we were leaving and asked for it to be taken away. Not a good experience for them.
There also seemed to have a fly issue which might’ve been due to the weather but there were flies hovering around us and the food and drink 24/7, 2 flies even landed in someone’s drink.
Whilst the food was good, the atmosphere and service left much to be desired and we will not be returning.

This place is a gem!!! The atmosphere was astounding and the food was absolutely amazing. 🤩 I am in ahhhh how amazing everything was! I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant!
