December 2024, we stayed in room #8 for two weeks. No issues with bugs, the WiFi, traffic or hot water. We loved the peace and enjoyed seeing the children who attend the school across the street. Very centrally located to shopping places, food, and the beach. The host was very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. All other guests were quiet and polite. I loved seeing the monkeys hanging around the grass areas. 5/5.

So I have to do this review because the previous reviews gave me a scare. And those reviews seem unfair and might detour people from booking. We stayed because it's close to the fertility clinic. We meet a few other guests and heard what they had to say as well.
Firstly, I think your experience is dependent on which room you stay in. We were in room #7. There is no roach problem in the apartment. There is no noise problem. But persons who choose room #10 might hear cars honking as they go around a sharp corner at night. I never heard a car honk from my room. There's a private school across the road from the apartment so during the day you can watch children playing from your window (very relaxing to me). There's green monkeys that traverse the yard minding their own business and not interfering with you. The apartment is not on the mainroad. It is 1/2 block from the mainroad. You can walk everywhere. And you can use public transportation which is very cheap.
The manager is very helpful. I once had an issue with my hot water and she told me to flip a switch and it worked. There is good wifi in the room and in the yard. She also came one night to open the door for someone who locked their keys inside. There is a laundry room but you might have to pay to use it. You only need your own toilet paper, body wash and groceries. The only thing I wish is that I had a bedside mat. Because our room didn't come with a bedside mat.
Lastly, on the website there aren't pictures of the bathroom but I can assure you it is modern and acceptable. It has a shower. Not a tub.

If your staying here for the fertility clinic. Stay elsewhere. Cochroachs in room. Sheets and blankets with rips. Lumpy pillows. Rooms are right next to two busy streets so all hours you will hear everything from the roads as there's zero insulation around windows and doors.
All this leading to the worst sleep you will ever get.
Office management will bombard you with calls inconveniently but when you need them they put you off for days. Says laundry's included. Called all weekend to try and get key. Mind you it's the same number as the emergency after hours number and no one answered until Monday morning. So if you have an emergency don't expect anyone to answer.
Stay closer to the clinic or anywhere else other than here.
