Toll free number is not toll free. Ate my entire balance of 6 USD in 9 minutes or so. Ridiculous

RBC has one more strike with me before I close my account and move my business elsewhere. The customer service couldn't possibly be any worst! I don't understand why you would block access to a customer's account after not receiving a response to information sent via physical mail ONLY!! When you want to sell your products you call and email but then only rely on a response to mail sent by carrier pigeon? My access from spending AND receiving money was blocked (and still is blocked) and when I called customer care a notice was put on my account that I needed to update personal details. Seriously!? So know one had the foresight to try other means to contact the customer BEFORE you block access to their account? POOR SERVICE.

Worst experience yesterday. So apparently you can’t change GDP into dollars unless you have two forms of ID one being a Barbadian ID Card we don’t live here! This makes no sense as the morning changed would be spent in the country and therefore better for the economy right? The woman on the counter was incredibly rude but sadly that is only to be expected as the level of customer service, unless in hospitality, is beyond poor.

A visit to this bank to withdraw money or pay a bill takes about 3 or 4 hours to complete.
There are no special allowances given to the elderly or the differently-abled who bank there. I've witnessed old people standing up so long waiting to cash their pension cheque that they start to faint.
Then there's the fact that there's no local number listed to contact the bank only a "1 800" number, so if you're calling the bank using your cell phone, you will be charged for an overseas call.

I am giving this branch 1 star because NO one ever answers the phone to answer basic branch inquiries. I had to make a wasted trip into the branch and stand in line for 1 1/2 hours to find out I had return a week later to pick up a new bank card. All I needed was someone in the branch is to answer the phone and tell me the bank card wasn’t in the branch yet. I was disgusted by seeing the long lines of customers waiting and the line kept growing the available tellers got smaller. At one point I counted 36 people in line with only 3 available tellers and each teller was taking on average 20 minutes to service each customer. That’s horrible! RBC, WHY do you have business and consumers in the same customer service line? Why are seniors standing in line more than 30 minutes???Do better RBC Bridgetown! You can and should offer better customer service. I gave a 1 star because I spoke to two tellers that offered good service. But everything else with the branch deserves a below zero score. This branch needs to make majority changes in its customer service delivery. Thank goddess the other branches on the island are better.
