A beautiful park, very well established and maintained. Some themed gardens which depending on the time of year will be more (or less) impressive.
In May we just missed the peak vlooming of many of the larger Orchids but many still in bloom and were beautiful.
There are Blue Iguanas roaming free as well as in a separate conservation area :)

Stunning beauty, with orchids, iguanas, parrots, and we saw an agouti. We got rained on briefly not long after we got there, while viewing the orchids. But it was warm and mid-day, so we dried off quickly. An employee pointed things out to us several times, mentioned parrots that had babies in a nest, and picking cherries off a bush for us to try! Beautiful landscaping, and a wonderful children’s area with a tower to climb. We were there for 3 hours wandering peacefully through the landscape.

Our family had a fantastic time walking around the botanical gardens. You can easily spend 1-2 hours waking the grounds and enjoying the gardens, the view, and the random blue iguanas you spot. They have a separate kids section with a maze, large plah area, fountain, and building structure for the kids to climb. Overall, a great experience!

The orchids were amazing and the staff very helpful. The blue iguana conservatory was very well kept and all animals had plenty of shade. The gift shop had fun British gifts that were reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

This was a somewhat last minute decision to go here. We bought tickets there, they weren't busy at all on a Tuesday. It has some very unique plants that we can't see at home . Along with the added bonus of seeing blue iguanas. It can be very warm, I recommend going earlier in the morning and bringing bug spray.
