I’m Canadian and moved to Grenada with my two children (ages 1 and 4) as a single mother while attending school at SGU.
Within a few months of moving here, I started working with Adreen/Precious Gems multiple days per week, and I am so grateful to have found them.
Adreen (and Litecia) are absolutely incredible. She is reliable, always on time, organized, and genuinely kind and patient with my children.
She always present with my kids, plans fun activities for the kids and never defaults to screens. The way she interacts with them—and even how she handles discipline—aligns with how I parent. My children absolutely adore her.
Adreen has also provided overnight care in my home. She makes sure everything runs smoothly—getting the kids ready for school, preparing lunches, and handling drop-offs.
She leaves the house tidy when I return—dishes done, toys organized—which I appreciate. I have complete peace of mind when my children are in her care.
I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for someone capable, kind, and reliable to care for their children.
My children and I will miss her when we leave the island - I wish we could take her with us!

I would recommend this Daycare/ school break program to any mother! Precious Gems are centrally located with well thought out facilities. They are also well staffed with a good child to caregiver ratio. The owner is a lovely person who prides herself in coming up with inclusive, interactive and fun activities for the children almost daily. They don’t just allow the kids to entertain themselves. They are also excellent communicators who are always ready to give feedback on my child and respond timely to any questions I may have 10/10 would recommend!

I'm so happy I found Precious Little Gems! I visited Grenada with my 15 month old Tess and needed to find a babysitter for a couple of days when I had scuba and snorkel plans.
Adreen who runs Precious Gems was wonderful to communicate with and helped get us set up with Maxine, who took excellent care of my little one while I was out.
Fantastic experience all around, Tess loved her "aunty maxine" :)

I will recommend this daycare to anyone... they are reliable and sufficient and consistent in service. The care givers are very responsible I think. My child is very comfortable with them.
