When Island boy Jason Cole met City Slicker Sarah Ruggieri in the waves at Freights Bay on a surf lesson. Jason, the instructor, and Sarah, the student. They started Paddle Barbados in 2012 as a way to do and teach what they love. This water sports power couple have introduced thousand of new riders to the sport of SUP in Barbados and beyond. They love nothing more than sharing the ocean with everyone they meet. We are a friendly and professional team of life long watersports enthusiasts and sharing our stoke is what we love to do. Located on Pebbles Beach, we are truly blessed to operate Paddle Barbados in this most perfect place.

I had a fantastic experience at Paddle Barbados! Tremayne provided excellent service and made sure I felt safe and comfortable before heading out into the ocean. I highly recommend this shop for your water activities when visiting this beautiful island.

I hired a paddle board from Adrian at Paddle Barbados. I’d never done Stand Up Paddle (SUP) before and I knew it was going to be a challenge. Adrian gave me a brief land-based lesson before going in. I struggled along for a while but after around half an hour, Adrian paddled up alongside me and subsequently gave me an hour’s lesson. When I say lesson it was much more than technique - the guy’s a psychological genius as he managed to patiently work with me to battle my fears. In the end I managed to paddle myself - that’s ticked off the bucket list - thanks to Adrian at Paddle Barbados.

The range of boards was great, Sarah and Jason who we dealt with were super knowledgeable. Drop off and pick up to our condo made life easy. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
