Came here in July and there were lines from different airlines coming in from the tarmac to the building. Th e instructions were confusing as the log in for the computer does not really speed up the process and some skipped the line to head to the screening. We waited almost two hours total. We thought it’s not the season to come but I guess that’s not the case anymore. The people were still polite thankfully. Flying out was the same terminal but on different side. Crowded but the shops do help “entertain” those of us who had to wait. Tortuga shops were available to get their known rum cakes. A little bit chaotic to walk out in a line to the tarmac but just follow directions and no one hopefully gets lost boarding. We flew Southwest and its way in the corner of the building. -Announcements sometimes overlap so you got to pay attention

Nice and clean little airport. Check in and security check went pretty smooth and fast. A handful of dinning options.

For a small airport it was fairly quick to get through immigration. Upon arrival we were told to use the kiosks and then it only registered 2 of the 4 of us and we still had to see a agent. The kiosk seemed useless. Airport was clean and air conditioned. A few small shops and restaurants (Wendy's,subway). It looked like they were adding another restaurant too. Upon our departure, the immigration and security processes were quick and easy. No long lines on a Wednesday around noon.

As long as you don't arrive in the rain it's great and quick to get through, customs do a good job making visitors to the island not that welcome especially if you are young But everyone else great. Departures on a busy weekend are not great as it's too small for how busy it is.. Lines at desks Lines at security and nowhere to sit. Out of peak hours super easy. Also don't try and get a taxi off a Cayman airways Tampa flight. It any later in the day flight. Not a single taxi at the airport. In fact taxis are the worst experience. They will try and load up a van with 2-3 groups all going to seven mile beach and charge the same high pricing to each group if you got your own car. If you are not going to seven mile beach - they are not interested. + No meters in the car, they are supposed to be fixed prices but then add on additional passenger fee bag fees. Hire a car!!!
