My daughters and I have been volunteering at the Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary. It warms my heart how happy the dogs are to see us, and it breaks my heart to leave them there. while there we bathe them, walk them and spoil them with hugs and playtime. If I could take them all home, I would. Maybe someone out there reading this review can take at least one and change their life forever.

We visited Ocean Acres today, and we were so impressed! The whole place is run with so much care and dedication, it’s clear the animals are truly loved and well looked after. The atmosphere is so positive, and you can tell they’re making a real difference. If you’re in Barbados, this is definitely a place worth visiting and supporting!

Please go and volunteer at this rescue and then adopt a dog on your way out. Karen Whittaker runs this rescue and needs all of our help to find home for these dogs. If you can’t volunteer or adopt please consider donating.

My husband and I visited and had a lovely afternoon meeting and hanging out with all the beautiful cats and dogs. It was great to give the dogs some loving human interaction and meet the amazing, hard-working, and compassionate staff. It's such a wonderful organization. We will definitely visit again.

We recently adopted a dog from this sanctuary and I can tell he was well cared for and properly socialized. We love our new family member.
