Milky Way Desert Parlour gave us such a lovely experience yesterday. We visited the Tyrol Cot branch on its very last day, yet the atmosphere and service were absolutely brilliant. The staff were warm, friendly, and really made us feel welcome. I had the Biscoff ice cream, and it was honestly one of the most flavoursome scoops I’ve had in Barbados. Creamy, rich, and packed with big chunks of real Biscoff that made every spoonful amazing. We ended up staying far longer than planned, chatting with other customers who couldn’t stop raving about the Sorrel and Rum sorbet. You could feel how much people genuinely love this place. Even though Tyrol Cot has closed, we’ll definitely be heading to their Six Roads branch next. Based on yesterday’s experience, it’s more than worth the trip. A wonderful spot with delicious ice cream and fantastic customer service. Highly recommended.

Some of the creamiest ice-cream you'll ever have! My traditional favourites are the Salted Caramel and Coffee. And my favourite from their special offers was the Jam Puff flavour in November - so true to taste, it was amazing!

The location of this quaint little ice cream shop makes me feel like it is meant to be a treasured secret. Not only does the secret of this ice cream shop live up to the hype surrounding those who know of it, but the taste and flavors are better than many gelatarias I've been to in Italy, New York City and around the Caribbean. Put this Ice Cream Shop onto your weekly To-Do-List!!!

Absolutely lovely home made ice cream and sorbets. Great value for money and a great array of flavours. For those who can't have dairy, I even see they have dairy free options! The homemade waffle cones are awesome! Very happy to have found this hidden gem!

The owner is often in the store, and if his ice cream doesn’t make your day his smile will. His ice cream checks all the boxes: creamy, subtle or intense flavours as appropriate, cold, and nice portion size for a decent price. We’ll done! 12 out of 10. Update: returned to Canada where I just had a DQ S’Mores Blizzard … Russell’s is better. Update 2: after a long 11 month wait we are back. The craving for their salted caramel was finally satisfied. Also tried the banana bread flavour, amazing. Update 3: another year and another pilgrimage to my favourite ice cream parlour on the planet. Possible the main reason why I come back to Barbados year over year - not to say that the people and beaches aren’t great as well (someone has to make the ice cream). Salted caramel is sooo smooooth, sooo gooood. Golden Apple, Tamarind, Sour Sop and Rum Raisin were on the menu. Another year before we get to try some more ☹️.
