Food was delicious and filling. Had apple juice which was made to my liking as I realised other customers were adding water to theirs. I just said I don't want it to be sweet and my large glass was cold and refreshing. Staff were friendly. Only dislike were the flies. Other than that everything else was great.

Good home cooked food, daily selections. Very large portions. Great value for money.

I had the pudding and souse, which was fairly good and it was a very generous portion. The beers were a bit warm. The service was excellent as well.

The owner is constantly making changing for the better which is good thing.
Great after work or weekend stop for beverage & food.
