A great restaurant on the beach. I had the sea bass with mushroom risotto for main and pina colada cheese cake. Both were gorgeous. Not big portions, but beautifully balanced.
The waiting staff were superb - attentive, professional and friendly.
Book well in advance of your visit ie months.

Although I missed a prime view of the sunset, I was thrilled to dine near the water at such a beautiful place. Located on the North-West coast of Barbados, Lone Stars restaurant offers a superior dining experience. The food and beverages are a fusion of tantalizing, gastronomic concoctions. The service is superb. The venue appears small from the curbside but opens to a spaceous dining room spanning the coast. There is not one bad seat in the house, the views just improve if you sit on the outermost border of the dining room where you can take in picturesque views of the ocean as you are serenaded by waves crashing against the shore. A fine touch is the gentleman servers adorning traditional white coveralls for uniforms. Service with a smile is their ritual making the dining experience pleasant.

We ate here for our last night in Barbados and what a treat! We had two waiters, Anthony and someone else. The views, the food, wow what a treat. Lone Star single handly at the buzzer is what made me want to come back to Barbados. The best Cesar salad of my life!!! I had the pasta was good. Everything.

The location of Lone Star is perfect, right on the beachfront and we had a lovely table looking out at the sea. The food was also delicious, my husband enjoyed the Shepherd's Pie which may have been the best Shepherd's Pie he's ever had!
The service was perfunctory rather than friendly but that was fine. When we paid the bill, service charge was added already but we chose to add a cash tip for the same value as we felt is was probably expected despite the service not really being anything special. The server did not acknowledge/thank us for this, maybe because she is used to much bigger tips from other diners which made us feel like we wish we hadn't bothered.

We had a lovely evening with a party of 7. Our waiter was Roland who was wonderfully attentive and professional. After our meal we had a problem with our car and Roland and a colleague, Vincent, helped us sort it. Super nice team. Really lovely all round.
