BLUF: slightly better than average Mexican good enough if your craving it and on the east end, otherwise recommend trying many of the other better restaurants on the island if you have limited time! Server was fantastic very friendly and hospitable to our family with lots of special requests! Atmosphere is best described as "little hole in the wall Mexican joint" that is really a house with a covered and meshed in patio turned into a restaurant. Building could use a little repair and it does feel pretty cramped if you dine inside. Food we ordered was meh. Mango margarita special was missing something... Not that great... Chicken tacos were ok but lacking some flavor in the meat. Elote bowl was OK but could use more spice and toppings for the price it was mostly a bowl of corn. Queso fundito, steak tacos, guacamole and quesadillas were all delish!

Made with love, from scratch. Guacamole was decent but could have used a little more lime. I was hoping for some delicious refried beans, but they lacked a little flavour. Mexican rice & fresh Pico was delicious! Nachos were delicious! Tortillas made from scratch, so definitely A+ for that! Just a little bit more flavour is needed and it would be perfect!

Service was great! Ice tea with lemon. My wife had green enchilada verde and I had shrimp tacos. We loved our meals! Guacamole with tacos was great. FYI salsa is warm and ok, with chips and salsa as an appetizer.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem in the East End: You NEED to try the "Tacon"! If you’re exploring the East End, La Casita is the absolute "if you know, you know" spot. This isn't just another Mexican restaurant; it’s a masterclass in authentic flavors and cozy vibes. 🌮 The Food: Beyond the Ordinary Chips & Salsa: Forget the watery stuff. Their salsa is made with fire-roasted tomatoes, giving it a deep, smoky complexity that makes it impossible to stop eating. The "Tacon": I had never heard of this dish before, but it was the undisputed star of the show. If you see it on the menu, order it. It’s a flavor explosion that I’m still thinking about days later. 🏠 The Vibe The restaurant is incredibly quaint and cozy, making it perfect for a date night or an intimate dinner with friends. However, because it's such a local treasure, seating is limited. Pro Tip: Do not risk a walk-in! Highly recommend making reservations in advance to secure a table in this tiny culinary paradise.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 experience! Everything about our visit was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were excellent, and our waitress, Debby, was such a joy. She was friendly, attentive, and made our dinner even more enjoyable. What truly set this place apart happened after our meal. We discovered we had a flat tire, and the owner and her friend went completely above and beyond by changing it for us. Their kindness and willingness to help turned what could have been a stressful situation into something we’ll never forget. The amazing food and drinks brought us in, but the incredible hospitality is what will bring us back. We can’t recommend this place enough!
