Karibu Restaurant was a great experience overall. The fried fish was very good, and the pepper sauce was really flavorful and added a nice kick. There was no wait for the food, which was a plus. The outdoor seating creates a nice, relaxed ambiance, and it’s interesting seeing chickens walking around as you dine — it adds to the local charm. There’s convenient parking in the back, and they accept credit cards, which makes things easy. Would definitely come back.

I have been meaning to write this overdue review for a long time. I’ve had take away food from Karibu a few times when I have visited Barbados. I love the simplicity, quality and how delicious the food is. It is scrumptious! The owner and staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming, it makes you want to return. If anyone has not yet tried Karibu’s food, give it a try. You will not be disappointed!

Friendly service and able to pay by card were pluses but the bad Karaoke and plastic chairs made this place difficult to love. Crab curry was nice, although lots of effort and the other food elements were tasty. Drinks were fine if not a little sugary. Mosquito heavy.

Wow!!! We found this near us by the excellent reviews. Don’t expect much in terms of appearance (plastic chairs it is v authentic) but my oh my the food was INSANE! We ate at QP, sea shed, tides, the cliff the lot and nothing is as good as this. This true bajan meal beats any of those fancy ass places any day. Menu was small and everything we chose (spicy chicken and garlic shrimp with spicy rice and Marconi pie) was divine. We are going back! Wonderful and friendly staff too. This is defo where the locals go. It even started raining while we were sat outside and the whole thing just embraced the Bajan culture we loved it - we ended up eating outside in the tropical rainstorm and soaked it all in.

I really don’t like fried food so it didn’t go well with me. I’d prefer things that are cooked over fire so for me the food was a mess but I know most people like fried food so if you like fried food, you’ll like it here atmosphere was OK. The woman who helped me was very sweet
