There are quite a few taxi service providers in St. John’s, but my wife and I were very lucky to find and choose Jamal.
We arrived by cruise ship, so we only had one day to explore the island. We wanted to see the main sights, and in addition to our wishes, Jamal took us to several other places of his own choosing along the route we had already planned — places that would have been a real shame to miss. We are truly grateful for that.
He speaks excellent English, is friendly and funny, and is very knowledgeable. He told us a lot about life in St. John’s, and he always had something interesting to say about every place we visited.
He also took his time at each stop and even took some photos for us.
To make the experience even more authentic and welcoming, we stopped for a drink at his wife Claudia’s place. She also drives a taxi, and her service has top ratings online — which I completely understand. They are both genuinely wonderful people.
I highly recommend Jamal without any hesitation.

So glad we found Jamal for our taxi requirements on Antigua. He was extremely helpful and very friendly. His car was clean, tidy, cool with the A/C and he was always punctual. I have no hesitation in recommending Jamal's Taxi Service. Keep up the good work!

If you are traveling to Antigua, I would like to recommend Jama’s Taxi service. I was very lucky to find Jamal. From the first text on WhatsApp, i had instant response. Pricing was transparent and very fair. I had an extensive itinerary and Jamal was able to meet all my requests. Updates on arrival times were provided by live location. I always knew where Jamal was in relationship to my location. More than professional also a very joyful and kind person. I felt very safe even before our first meeting. I think we parted as good friends. I will be calling Jamal every time i return to Antigua & Barbuda- which i hope will be frequently.

Very highly recommend! We traveled in a small group. Jamal and his associates were very friendly, knowledgeable & provided amazing service! Vehicles were newer and in great condition. Jamal was great to communicate!
