Island Chef is a great spot for a solid meal in Soufrière. The food was delicious and well-priced, making it excellent value for money compared to many places in the area. One thing to keep in mind — it’s a good idea to book a day in advance, as they can get busy. Also, while hours may say they’re open until 10 PM, they’re not always open that late, so plan accordingly. Overall, great food, good pricing, and definitely worth a visit!

Great picturesque location on the beachside in the centre of town, food was some of the best we’ve eaten in St Lucia! Fish is caught fresh and cooked up that evening for $30 USD per plate, paired with $3 beers - incredibly reasonable value & quality compared to other spots. Easy to reserve a table via WhatsApp also. I’d 100% recommend!

The other reviews sum it up perfectly so there’s not loads to add: you get a fish or vegan option, no menu, no explanation, just magic on a plate. It was delicious! I’m not normally a fan of tuna but this one was honestly amazing. The grilled plantain tasted wonderful and had a real nice crunch to them. The salad had some sort of dressing and was very refreshing. The view was stunning. All great. We paid $20 USD per person.

I never usually leave reviews but this was by far the best meal we had on our trip to St. Lucia. As a vegetarian it’s not always easy finding options on the island but this place offers both a fish and a vegan meal. One of my sisters had the fish and my other sister and I chose the vegan option. It was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t recommend it more!!! We also really appreciated the music they were playing. The chef and his son are lovely. Don’t forget your bug spray if you’re going in the evening. Merci island chef 👨‍🍳

Kind of a novel eating experience. My fiancé and I walked up and asked for a menu and the chef said “No menu, you get vegan or fish and I bring you magic.” Seemed good enough for me. 10 minutes later the magic arrived and magic it was. The chef made a plate of tuna with a bunch of sides and it was delicious. The spot next to the ocean in town was great ambiance.
