DO NOT BOOK THERE. We arrived in Barbados on January 21st and we had booked a car with Hertz via Priceline website. Everyone at the airport told us that someone from Hertz should be waiting at the exit to take us to our car, we waited and looked for half an hour and no one showed up. We finally took a taxi to their rental location, only to find that they were closed. We tried to call at numerous numbers with no answer..we had to go back to the airport by taxi so rent a car with another company, which ended up being extra pricy. Worse experience ever.

No representation or representatives present. Received a voicemail and email confirming rental as close 1 and 2 days ago. Required going with a different rental company. Phone calls fail and calls to the other Hertz office in Bridgetown did not pick up the phone at 4 PM local time.
Note: disappointed with Hertz regarding situation.
note 2: Based on response below with limited internet access and in general, searching for a social media team on a different platform that is not location based, after travelling and waiting with bags, is not viable nor acceptable solution.

A real nightmare. I arrived last 28 dec with a confirmed reservation for 14 days. No open office (no office at all?) at the airport. I tried to phone to the number on the site. No answer. I take a taxi and go to their real office, 1 km away, next to the nearest gas station. Office closed, it's 4 p.m., on the site they declare to be open 5-23. There are 2 guys, a man and a woman, going away. I stop them and ask what's happening. The man says they have no car available but, the next day, they'll have. He promises me to bring the car to my house (15 km away) on 29 dec at 10 a.m., asks my number and swear he'll call me. The next day: no call, no answer, nothing at all. Fortunately I find another car from another rental. My story has a happy ending. But, really NEVER RENT A CAR FROM THESE GUYS. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY UNRELIABLE. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY REPRESENT HERTZ CORPORATION ON THE ISLAND.

Do not rent from here. I made a reservation through Hertz, and when I arrived the office was closed and locked with no one inside. I tried calling the number and nobody picked up. I called Hertz and they told me there was nothing they could do and that the office should be open. The only car available from another company and it was triple the price, but we had no other choice but to pay it. Never again.

This is probably the worst rental experience I have ever had, from the lack of having anyone to welcome me at the airport, having to ask a representative from a competing rental company to call for Hertz to acknowledge I was there through the inability to receive an invoice for the rental, not through the local office (They don't answer their published number) and through the Hertz website and support system, I opened a support ticket and got no response, as someone who rents cars multiple times a year, I would not recommend using this location and would definitely consider other options in other locations too
