Awesome place. I broke my prescription glasses from home and was recommended by a friend to go there. Pleasantly surprised. I lost my prescription glasses on the beach, tried a few other opticians, but they all asked for a week time before they could get my glasses ready. Upon a little research, I found Harcourt Carter Optical, visited here the next day, and within 30-45 mins, they got my glasses ready and that too for a similar price.

Wonderful staff; I broke one of my pairs of glasses and when they couldn't fix them in store after giving it a very good go, they helped me choose some a new frame and then fitted my lenses to that. A relief as new lenses cost me so much. Will definitely be booking in for eye tests in future as they have a great range of glasses and also stock my daily contacts.

This is the best optical service in Barbados. I had my prescription glasses stolen from me while enjoying Browne's beach in early February. My prescription is quite strong, and I am not able to see without them. Fortunately, I have extended family who have lived in Barbados for many generations, and they suggested Harcourt Carter Optical after I had no luck for an urgent replacement at another optical store. Adrienne at the Haggatt Hall location was amazing! She understood my plight, and worked hard to find a timely solution for me. I provided a prescription from my eye doctor in Canada, and they did the rest. It was a Saturday morning, and I was able to get my glasses on Monday afternoon - vacation saved! Thank you Adrian and the rest of the wonderful staff at Harcourt Carter (including at the Bellville location where I picked them up). No wonder generations of Bajans have been going there!

I have been dealing with Harcourt Carter Optical for many years. their customer service and professionalism is ineradicable. Truth be told customer service in Barbados is pretty much non existent. HCO have raised the bar. I wear contact lenses and also spectacles. The care and attention that have gone in to getting the perfect contact lenses to suit my astigmatism is ineradicable. i have the perfect lenses now. Further more i recently bought new frames in the U.S.A. and had HCO fit the perfect lenses. three weeks later i am totally disappointed with my frames and experienced all sorts or problems with them. i went to HCO Sergeants Village branch and dealt with April. April took the time and genuine care and choose the perfect pair of frames so that i could use back my new lenses. With a few adjustments to the lenses i now have the perfect pair of spectacles. So a huge thanks you to April. April has taken customer service to a whole new level!!! thanks! i am a very happy customer.
