Its architecture dates from around the 1960s or 70s. Perhaps it's become too small for the island's growing tourism, events, conventions, etc. I felt a bit cramped in the shops, and I was particularly impressed by the mini-market, bakery, and bar. The souvenir area should be larger. In any case, I'd never seen those machines with monitors that check your passport without having to wait in line or be assisted by staff. Excellent!

Easy arrival process. Immigration was quick (we had completed all the forms online first) and didn't have to wait long for bags afterwards.
Departure was just as easy. Open air checkin right next to the drop off point makes life easy. Security also relatively quick.
Few places before the gates as well as a number of shops.

Grantley Adams International Airport is very clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Security was professional and efficient, making the process smooth. Overall, it’s a well-organized airport with a good experience!

Open air check in area is different then the typical setup but the fans move a bunch of air so its not bad. The gate area has not many options for food (wish it had more options) other than the Rum selection of duty free which has lost of options everything is enough to get the job done.

A modern, efficient airport with fancy passport-reading machines - and Rolls-Royces outside waiting for VIPs, just in case anyone was worried important people might have to suffer normal transportation. Have a good flight!
