We stayed at Glenville Gardens over Christmas and truly enjoyed every moment. The cottages are charming, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. Each cottage comes with all the basic amenities you need, including a full kitchen, making it easy and convenient to settle in and relax. They’ve also thought of the extra touches including beach towels, which made our stay effortless and more enjoyable. The grounds are absolutely beautiful—well groomed, and impeccably maintained—with an enclosed parking area that made everything feel easy and secure. Everything is within walking distance: the beach, a market, and great restaurants, so there’s no need for a car. Glenville Gardens is family owned, and the owners were absolutely amazing—warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. You can really feel the pride and personal attention they put into the property. Perfect whether you’re traveling solo or with others. We would happily stay here again.

Glenville Gardens is a magical oasis. Located in an exquisite garden, it’s the perfect retreat for those who love a quiet, peaceful environment. It’s very close to the boardwalk, Rockley Beach, restaurants, shops and all amenities. We walked everywhere. The unit was immaculate and contained everything we needed for a comfortable and efficient stay. Barbara and Sugrim are the perfect hosts. We highly recommend Glenville and we’ve already booked for next winter.

We have just returned from a wonderful one-week stay at Glenville Gardens. We have been visiting Barbados for over 30 years, and we have to say, this was the best accommodation we have experienced. Our hosts, Barbara and Sugrim, are the most warm, welcoming, and generous new friends we have made on the island and Debra is always close by to provide anything you need. Our cottage was spotless and so well-equipped we didn’t need to get groceries for a few days. Barbara provided us with fresh eggs, juice, snacks, warm coconut bread and even chilled Banks beer! The grounds are like living in a lush tropical forest with the green monkeys popping by every morning to say hello. We visited Hunte’s Gardens and Barbara’s gardens have more color than this popular tourist attraction. If you love gardening, Barbara can provide you with a tour of her gorgeous grounds. The beach, restaurants and groceries are a short walk away. You do not often find accommodations that exceed your expectations, not only because of the immaculate cottages and grounds but because of Barbara, Sugrim and Debra. It was like coming home every time we came back after a great day at the beach. Hopefully, our next stay will be longer than a week because we want to become regulars and enjoy this little piece of paradise instead of this insane snow we have had in Ontario, Canada, this winter! Thank you so much Barbara and Sugrim, we already miss your smile and your laugh. Hope to see you again soon. Debbie and Bob xo

The apartment are lovely and the place is very secure. The host is very helpful and responds promptly to address any issues. The location is close to Lantern mall, the beach, a bank, a bus stop and fast food restaurant.

Our stays at Glenville Gardens is always amazing and they have the cleanest, most efficient and friendliest accommodation in all of Barbados and this is our second year at the Gardens. We will never change unless Barbara, Sugrum and Deborah leave its the best ever. Thank you all for the best holiday we ever had!!! Scott and Barb Shier
