Dune is set in absolutely beautiful surroundings within the The Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort, with stunning ocean views and one of the most impressive dining atmospheres on Paradise Island. Arrival and service throughout the evening was excellent, polished, attentive, and very much in line with what one would expect from a luxury resort experience. The food was prepared well overall. The calamari was outstanding, lightly prepared and flavorful, while the lobster was excellent and cooked properly. The steak, however, was somewhat disappointing. While advertised as prime, it did not quite eat like a true prime cut and may have been grass-fed, giving it a different texture and flavor profile than expected. The wine list is extensive and thoughtfully curated, though pricing is firmly at luxury resort levels. That said, there are still a few reasonably good values if one takes the time to search through the list carefully. Overall, Dune unquestionably delivers a beautiful high-end dining experience with exceptional atmosphere and very strong service. However, the overall price tag is extremely high, and ultimately I felt comparable or better culinary experiences could be found elsewhere at this level of spend. While I am glad to have experienced it, I personally would not return.

Food was delicious. Steak was full of flavor. Hubby had lamb and that was delicious. The place was very clean and a nice atmosphere. Our server did a great job, she had knowledge of the menu. The ginger margarita was aweeeeésome. Dune is not cheap, it was only 2 of us and the bill was $450 and some. So take that into consideration when making your reservation. I wanted a new restaurant and a very fine dining experience for hubby so I was willing and prepared to spend whatever for his special day.

Overall, the experience was good. The food was very enjoyable and everything was well prepared. The atmosphere was nice, and it definitely feels like a higher-end place. That said, the pricing is on the higher side. My dinner came out to around $200 for one person, which is quite expensive. It’s also important to note that a 15% gratuity is already included in the bill. My main concern was with the service. George, who was my waiter, was attentive, but I felt uncomfortable when he repeatedly encouraged me to leave an additional tip on top of the included gratuity. It felt a bit pushy, especially considering the total cost of the meal and the service expectations at that price point. Overall, good food and a nice setting, but the tipping situation took away from the experience.

We booked our dinner at Dune months in advance to celebrate a very special occasion, noting the milestone on our reservation. Given the Four Seasons brand and the premium price tag—our bill came to around $200 for just two entrees and plain water—we expected an exceptional experience. Unfortunately, the service and food fell drastically short. The location and oceanfront ambiance are undeniably stunning, but that is where the positives end. Our main dishes were bland, lackluster, and entirely unimpressive. To top it off, being nickel-and-dimed—charging extra for a second basket of bread when two entrees and water already set us back $200—felt completely absurd for a luxury establishment. What hurt the most, however, was the service. Our waiter was cold and indifferent toward us from the start. We are a young couple, and it was hard not to notice the stark contrast in treatment when he completely lit up for the older couple at the table next to us. While they received warm, attentive service, our water glasses sat empty, and our special occasion wasn't acknowledged at all—not a "congratulations," no complimentary dessert, or even a basic gesture of hospitality. We came excited to celebrate a big milestone at a world-class resort, but left feeling dismissed and valued far less than other guests. It was nowhere near the standard of service expected from the Four Seasons.

Went here to celebrate my birthday. Expected more on food, it was good but not great. Staff was incredibly welcoming, went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The music and the view were incredible. I would give it 4 stars but because the staff and atmosphere, I upgraded to 4.
