This was a fantastic experience! The cave and the wildlife in/around are a gem. Respecting the cave and the wildlife was emphasized appropriately by the guides. You really are an observer and there’s a lot of effort put into preserving the cave as much as possible. I’d be happy to go again! The trail is a bit slick and there are some very steep steps. If you’re okay with that and can handle being around bats, birds and some bugs then I would recommend, 10/10

This was an amazing experience and the tour guides, Melissa and Natalie were fantastic! The hike is more like a walk through the woods with steps. Anyone in a decent amount of shape can make it. The tour is also designed so that after a steep climb up, there’s time to rest while the guides explain something. While I understand the need for tours to preserve the history and wildlife of this magnificent area, $30 is a little too much. Especially considering it was once free.

We had a great time exploring Cueva Ventana! My wife and I both really enjoyed the experience. The hike was not long, just as many other reviewers mentioned. There are a few short but steep sections, especially climbing into and out of the cave, but nothing too difficult if you take your time. Our tour guide was incredibly kind, funny, and helpful throughout the entire experience. He was just as committed to keeping everyone safe as he was to protecting the wildlife and natural environment around us, which we really appreciated. While the famous view from the cave is absolutely beautiful, the real highlight for us was the cave tour itself. Learning about the cave’s history and ecosystem, seeing the bats up close, and sitting in complete darkness so we wouldn’t disturb them was such a unique and memorable experience. It gave us a whole new appreciation for the cave beyond just the viewpoint. If you’re debating whether it’s worth the visit, it absolutely is. We would highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful time! Our guides Cristine and Melisa were very knowledgeable, patient and kind throughout the tour. My top 2 moments were the beautiful view from the cave window and a "special surprise" I didn't expect in the 2nd cave, but I was pleasantly surprised.

If you are looking for an unforgettable adventure with breathtaking views, you absolutely have to do the Cuenca Ventana tour. The natural beauty of the cave and the spectacular opening that overlooks the valley is nothing short of majestic. It is a bucket-list experience that pictures simply cannot do justice. What truly elevated this experience from great to exceptional, however, was our guide, Jesus. From the very moment the tour started, Jesus was professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and highly attentive to everyone in the group. He shared fascinating insights about the geological history, the local ecosystem, and the cultural significance of the area, making the trek both educational and engaging. Beyond his expertise, Jesus has a fantastic personality. He ensured everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the hike, maintained a great pace, and was more than happy to help us capture the perfect photos at the best vantage points. His passion for what he does is evident, and his energy is contagious. Thank you, Jesus, for an incredible day and for being such a phenomenal host. If you book this tour, do yourself a favor and ask for Jesus—you won't regret it! Highly recommended!
