We had an absolutely incredible experience with Johlyne Pollock & Colin Richardson with C's Taxi in St. Kitts. This is a wonderful family-owned business run by a husband and wife team, and our tour with Johlyne ended up being one of the most memorable parts of our trip. From the moment we met her, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. She was born and raised on St. Kitts, with multiple generations of her family from the island, and that deep connection to the land and culture really showed throughout the entire tour. She didn’t just point out attractions — she shared stories, history, traditions, and personal experiences that made us feel like we were seeing the island through the eyes of a local. She had great suggestions for places to visit, but she was also very flexible and happy to adjust the day based on our interests. My spouse is from another Caribbean island, and the two of them immediately connected over their shared experiences growing up in island culture. They talked about cooking with natural ingredients, plants and leaves used in teas, and traditional ways of living off the land. She explained how she uses things like lemongrass and other natural ingredients in her teas and recipes, and we walked away with wonderful ideas about incorporating more natural ingredients into our own cooking and daily life. One of the most special moments of the day happened when I mentioned how much I love tamarind. Without hesitation, she pulled over along the roadside where tamarind trees grow on public land, walked over, and picked a fresh tamarind right from the tree for us. It was such a simple gesture, but it turned into one of the most memorable moments of our entire trip — tasting tamarind fresh from the tree, right there on the island where it grows. It was absolutely delicious and something we will never forget. Throughout the entire tour she did everything she could to make our experience magical — sharing her knowledge, her culture, and the beauty of St. Kitts with genuine pride and kindness. It truly felt like spending the day with a friend who wanted us to fall in love with her island as much as she has. If you are visiting St. Kitts and want a personal, authentic, and meaningful experience rather than just a standard tour, I cannot recommend Johlyne & Colin Richardson with C's Taxi highly enough. This was easily one of the highlights of our visit, and we are so grateful for the experience.

If you are visiting St.Kitts definitely hire this taxi & tour company! I used them each day of my 4 day trip. Service was top notch. They were always on time and communication was perfect. We also did an island tour with Joylene and she was very knowledgeable about the island. You can also customize the tour to your liking. I highly recommend.

We booked C’s Taxi & Tours for a private island tour on our first day in St Kitts (Feb 1, 2026). We couldn’t have made a better choice. Johlyne was so friendly and knowledgeable. She picked us up from our hotel and took us to all the sights we wanted to see while providing insightful information on the island and its history. She also made some solid recommendations for the rest of our week. After spending the day with her, she became our “Go to” for travel around the island as we hired her for all our transportation to our planned excursions. She even coordinated another driver to meet us in Nevis and take care of our transportation there. Upon our return she was promptly on time waiting for us. Johlyne, thank you for helping make our trip so special. Throughout the week you made us feel like family.😀

Talk about WOW service!!! We used their services back in early June. We spent 2 days. First day with Johlyne and she was absolutely fantastic. Had a strong knowledge about the island and she was eager to make sure we had a great time. Second day Colin joined us along with Colin and they were a fantastic team and took us to new beautiful places in St Kitts. I strongly recommend their services.

Our family of five visited St. Kitts during a cruise stop in November 2025 and booked a private Panoramic Island Tour + Beach with C’s Taxis and Tours. We were traveling with a 3-year-old and two seniors with mobility limitations, so we needed something flexible and comfortable. After not finding the right fit on TripAdvisor, I found C’s Taxis and Tours through a Google search and booked through their website. They responded immediately, confirmed the tour within minutes, and at $65/adult and $40/child, the value was excellent for a private experience. Our guide, Johlyne Richardson, exceeded expectations. She met us early at Port Zante with a sign and welcomed us into a spotless, extremely comfortable Toyota Alphard van with great AC — perfect for our multi-generational group. From the moment the tour began, we knew we were in great hands. Johlyne is one of those rare guides who is not just knowledgeable, but sincerely warm and genuine. She shared stories about her family, her love for St. Kitts, and her experiences growing up on the island — and it all came together in a way that made the tour feel relaxed, engaging, and personal. We enjoyed a scenic drive through Basseterre, followed by a stop at Wingfield Estate where we tried fresh coconut water and “jelly” coconut for the first time, and sampled Old Road Rum. Mid-tour, I mentioned my interest in visiting Sea Glass Beach, and even though it meant backtracking, Johlyne took us there without hesitation. It’s a beautiful spot, though not ideal for those with mobility challenges. If you have special requests, it’s best to mention them at the beginning of the tour. Timothy Hill was another highlight with fantastic views and a great opportunity for photos. Our last stop was Friars Beach next to Shipwreck Beach Bar. We rented shaded lounge chairs for $30 and enjoyed a calm, relaxing hour at the beach. The only challenge was the steep terrain from the parking area to the sand, but with some assistance, my in-laws managed it. The beach itself was clean, calm, and perfect for families. One detail I appreciated is that C’s Taxis and Tours allows you to pay a 50% deposit online a week before the tour and the remaining balance after the trip — including tips by credit card. This flexibility was not available on other Caribbean excursions we booked. Overall, this tour offered great value, a comfortable pace, and a well-rounded introduction to St. Kitts. It was kid-friendly, senior-friendly, and adaptable. We would gladly book with C’s Taxis and Tours again and plan to contact Johlyne when we return to St. Kitts for a longer stay.
