Crane Beach Public Access and Parking

About 20 free parking spaces on Crane Beach road. The road is a little tight and there is only space for parking on one side. Recommend driving to the bottom and turning around to avoid the need to do a single lane reverse out when you leave. Park close to the coral rocks and climb over to exit through the passenger seat. From here though there is direct public access to the beach itself. Some people park at the crane beach resort on the cliff side and walk down from there but there is a charge. Last time i did that was a while back and it was $20 bbds. On your way to the beach you'll meet the guys selling drinks on the beach. For tourists they seem to be really pushing the prices up. $30 bbds for a virgin cocktail and $40 bbds for one with rum, seemed to be the norm. Not to screw anyone but Marcus seemed to be most open to discounts to a more reasonable although still expensive $20 for a virgin $30 for alcohol. Going rate for beach chair seemed to be $10 and $20 for an umbrella. We did not haggle on the umbrella because if you are there all day you need it.
