Barbados national trust need to do something here.
It's close enough to gun hill station to share in the visitor numbers. And is an example of plantation signal station. Gun hill station being a station for watching out to sea and the islands plantations.
It's part of the islands history that should not be forgot. And could be a teaching point for the plantation system, slavery and slave revolts.
If you visit. You can go inside. There's a plaque and a captain's ladder (I wouldnt recommend climbing). There is currently 1 place to park, but it's a short visit. Best if your passing.
But there is ample space for a few more parking spaces and for a visitor centre.
Please preserve this site!
Nearby to Hunte's gardens and gun hill signal station.

This is a nice spot to visit with family or by yourself. Clean and well kept. There is not much parking. The road isn’t the best but you won’t damage your car if you are out for a casual drive. There isn’t anything to do except look and take a few pictures. Perhaps you can have a small picnic (remember to carry your garbage bag). It won’t be very private if someone else shows up as the space is small. I wouldn’t recommend going inside the tower itself.
