We stayed at Coconut Bay for 2 weeks between the 24th of August and the 7th of September. This was our 11th visit to Barbados but our first outside of a hotel as we wanted to experience something different. I can truly say we were not dissapointed. The property itself is in away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist resorts and provided us with a truly relaxing experience. Jacqui was not at the property when we had arrived as she was away in the UK on business but she had provided the contact details for her maintenance on the Island and the property was cleaned and awaiting our arrival.
Although away from the property Jacqui was readily available on WhatsApp and nothing was too much trouble for her, she even provided assistance with booking a hire car and the locations of all the local bars.
Coconut bay had all the amenities of home with a full kitchen 2 spacious bedrooms and bathroom all of which were spotless on our arrival and the bonus of a large washing machine meant no dirty clothes to take home with us.
We cant praise Jacquie and the property highly enough we had a truly wonderfully relaxing trip and will be back again

Really lovely apartments in a very calm and secluded spot, but also very close to amenities / Oistins if you want some nightlife. Loved being able to see and hear the ocean, would sit outside on the private patio for my morning coffee to take it all in. Apartment itself is very clean and has everything you’d need. A very comfortable stay overall - I’ll be back!

Fabulous Location. Fabulous Host. Beautiful Villa. Gorgeous marble tiled bathroom & kitchen. Full amenities. Extraordinary ocean and tropical garden views.
I loved swaying in the hammock listening to the waves and the birds and the privacy.
Fully recommended.

Do not go. The stench of red seaweed because of climate change affects your whole entire stay. It's everywhere. Plus my host Jacqueline was not a good one. Asked her for help and she told me about the rules of the house rather than actually help me. I've never been to Barbados before! The scenery is just like this, horrible! Would not recommend this part of the island, especially the host.

Jacqui is a fab host who is down to earth, fun and dedicated. Her property which is beach chic has inspiring views out to sea. She also teaches yoga locally at Surfer's Bay. Highly knowledgeable and well connected you can create a trip of a lifetime.
