Grab a kayak and make your way over. Looks a lot farther than it is. I was skeptical of the 20 minute trip quote by the guys on the beach. It took exactly 20 with the tide. Once there, enjoy your own private island. You will meet curious mice, and thieving crabs (was wondering why my pack was moving). Explore the small alcoves, and find the worlds grandest supply of conch shells! There was one that was easily over two and a half feet long. I wouldn't recommend kayaking to the north side as the tide swell is somewhat dangerous. The hike over requires some scrambling up rock walls but you are met with a half mile beach of pure solitude, looking out over the surrounding islands. A magical place that hides in plain view!

I used to swim here from Orient beach to escape from my degenerate nudist parents for awhile. I seem to remember goats on the island. 10/10 would highly recommend, but you'll probably want to take a boat instead of swimming round-trip, in retrospect I probably could've dehydrated pretty easily.

Very nice, but after I swam there using fins, I realized that the island is a nesting place for birds that you’re not supposed to depart on to.

Great little cay to visit by kayak. It's a 20 min trip there and 15 mins back (depending on tides and wind).
