This is the BEST tour guide company on the island. Captain Larry and his team take such great pride in what they do and it shows. We started the morning with a lively introduction to the whole tour guide team (9am) to a song called "Captain Larry" which was HILARIOUS and so fun. You are assigned your own individual tour guide and we got THE GOAT MAC DADDY. We rode around the entire island in his luxury truck, just the three of us. He gave us so much information about the island including taking us to some authentic food and drink spots! He made it customized to us including stopping multiple times for the bathroom (LOL) and pulling through Starbucks in the morning. We went around the entire island including snorkeling, monkeys, Rihannas childhood home, seeing all the landmarks and beaches. Seeing the passion Mac Daddy brought to the history of the island was a once in a lifetime experience. This is not some curated, boring resort island tour (we stayed at Sandals but chose to go with Captain Larry because so many people recommended it). It's a real look at the island by the people who love it the most! This was the highlight of our Honeymoon. Please enjoy the pictures and thank you again to the entire Captain Larry Team shoutout to MAC DADDY :)

Incredible e-bike rental. I had it for almost a full week and it performed beautifully. The rental process was very easy. The bikes are extremely powerful and have long-lasting batteries. Perfect for exploring the island. I would recommend for anyone or any group looking to explore Barbados on your own (ie not part of guided tours).

Going on one of Captain Larry’s e-bike tours was a terrific way to see Barbados. My husband and I booked the Southern Tour. Our guide Amil was patient, knowledgeable and attentive to our safety throughout the tour. We explored the Oustin Fish Market, stopped to watch sea turtles (and humans) surfing the waves along the coast, took fabulous photos, and then finished our afternoon with a beachfront snack. Would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to get a feel for the island from the seat of a bike. The electric assist ensures that the bikes are easy to operate - we had a fun day.

I rented a Ebike for 2 days and it was a great experince! I was in Barbados for a week, and wanted to rent a ebike for at least 1 day to travel around the entire island. that was one of my goals for the trip. I got it for 2 days, so i could get used to it before a 90+km trip around the island. -Paid online with credit card in advance. They are supportive in emails too if you have questions. -Pick up was 830am the day of rental, I was there a bit late at 9am and the bike was out and ready. Amil gave quick instructions about how to operate the bike, and then i rode around the lot to test. He also gave me a charger for the bike, a helmet, and lock. There is a key for the bike in the battery. -The bike they gave me looks a bit different from the ones in the bike tour pictures, it looks like a bigger cargo bike, with bigger battery. The bike was absolutely amazing. I had never been on a ebike, but this goes from 0 to 30mph in 5 seconds with no pedaling needed. It has a hand throttle, or if you start pedaling it will activate, with 5 speed settings. disk breaks, and it had a second seat on the bike, and battery removable for easy charging. - the first of 2 days, i spent zipping around the south of the island, from worthing to the fish market, to the southern tip, to the light house, to the army base, all the way around the airport to the old cannons on the coast and some other exploring along the way, mostly all at level 5 with almost no pedaling and going the same speed as most traffic. It was great and fast bike. -The second day i biked from worthing in oistins, to bath beach on the east coast, then up the east coast (stopped at soup bowl and other sites) to the flower animal cave at the very northern point, and harrisons lighthouse, then down the west to oistins again. a big triangle around the north. I was in level 1 and 2 most of the time and pedaling, so conserve battery, except 2 steep hills. So it took longer going at 15mph, but i started at 745am and got back at 6:00pm, including many stops and lunch at north restaurant. The battery was almost 0 as i got back, and was fully charged when i left, but i made it without it dieing, over 100km. -biking on the roads is pretty safe, you have to watch out for pot holes and bumps, but i found most roads were pretty good condition for biking as a bike can doge a hole better then a car, and there wasnt that many holes, most roads are new asphalt. The cars and buses will pass you when they can, but were all nice to me, never a issue. in alot of places near cities traffic moves so slow its at a bike speed anyways. anywhere outside of the cities or off the main road on the west, there is little traffic and nice open paved roads. -I really loved biking around on this bike, and went out many times in those 2 days just to bike around and explore. I would also say that 90% of the people i could see were looking at the bike as it past, with a few of them saying they wanted a bike like it, or asking me for a ride (for fun). Negatives/Room for improvement (im really picky person^^) -I paid for the 2 day bike rental, thinking it was 48 hours, but its really 2 days 1 night, so you pick up 830am, and drop off 5pm the next day. I would have liked that second night included in the price (which is a bit high already) and drop off at 830am after 48 hours. -I had to ask for a charger for the bike, they thought that i wouldnt need it for the 2 days, but it ran out from 3-4 hours of biking the first day, and needed charging after the full island bike too. but as soon as i asked he gave it to me no problem or extra charge. -the brakes were not the greatest. the left hand brake was best, but right hand one screeched and was not very effective at braking. The weight of the bike itself makes stopping on a downward hill very difficult. but never hit anything and stops no issue on anything but steep downward hills. Overall it was a amazing time with this bike rental, pictures and map of bike route included in review.

A Great experience from the minute that we booked the bike. We hired it to explore the north of the island for 10 days and it was worth every penny for every minute. Delivery was fast and efficient and when I decided to extend the booking they were so helpful. The bike itself was super and took all the hard work out of every hill that I cycled. Will definitely hire again from Captain Larrys. Thanks for making my holiday.
