In the area, this is one of two options. This is the one I tend to prefer because I'm not always in the mood to interact with the kind of effervescence that religious people can have. Cathy is a genuine, friendly, and funny person, and she always has the snacks I want, LÍCIA'S (WHOLEGRAIN) and CASHEWS.
Despite being a small place, there’s a wide selection available, including alcoholic drinks (rums, Rude Boys, Banks, Deputies, etc.). 🍺🍺 There’s a covered area outside where you can sit and enjoy one or seven. 🍺🍺 They’re open until 10 p.m. every day, which is convenient because it's way past the time most supermarkets will close. ⏰
They offer warm food, though not full meals like rice and peas—more pastry-type items. 🍞 They also sell bread. 🍞
One of the great things about this place is that you can pay by card, which means you might arrive thinking you want to buy just one item but can buy more, even if you don't have enough cash on you - this works very well for the one drink that turns out to be seven. 💳🍺
