I recently visited Buzo Osteria Italiana in Bridgetown, and I can confidently say that this restaurant lives up to its new title as Restaurant of the Year in the Caribbean! From the moment I stepped in, I was struck by the warm, elegant ambiance — an inspired fusion of Italian old-world charm and Caribbean vibrancy. The open-kitchen layout added a theatrical touch: watching fresh pasta being rolled, mozzarella stretched by hand, and pizzas pulled from the wood-fired oven felt like being part of a culinary performance. Every dish was a masterpiece. The polentina cotta al forno con gorgonzola e miele al tartufo was divine — a perfect balance of creaminess, earthiness, and sweet truffle notes. The Gamberoni alla Diavola showcased the best of local fresh seafood combined with bold Mediterranean flavors, and the Ligurian meatballs—which carry a secret blend of meats—were tender, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. Service was impeccable. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive without being intrusive, and clearly passionate about each dish. They guided me through wine pairings, explained menu details, and made me feel genuinely welcomed. It’s no surprise that Buzo has now been ranked #1 in the Caribbean and placed #41 in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. They’ve seamlessly married authentic Italian technique with Caribbean soul, and the result is world-class dining right here in Barbados. If you’re in Barbados and want an unforgettable culinary experience, Buzo Osteria Italiana is a must. Bravo to the entire team — I can’t wait to return!

Italian restaurant inside the Marriott courtyard , with very knowledgeable staff and good gluten free options . We had the fungi that was delicious, a good shrimp and white sauce and a very tasty flourless soufflé as desert. A bit more pricier than restaurants around it , but definitely a good option for celiacs

Our waitress, Shanelle, was awesome. We had the tuna tartar for an appetizer, the squid ink pasta, and the rigatoni with ham and peas for our entres. Everything was delicious and we had a fun dining experience.

We’ve been going to Buzo since 2024 and have loved every experience. We celebrated my son’s bday last year there. And tonight we celebrated his and our friends who were visiting from Canada. The service from our servers on the patio was exceptional. Dwayne and Ron were just the sweetest. We had three kids at our table and they were so patient and catered to our needs. And they made sure to interact with the kids that was fun and entertaining. Ron even placed cheese over our dishes with humour. And they brought out bday treats for our table and helped us sing happy birthday to the celebrants. On top of it all - the food was delicious. We ordered our favourite appetizers-Frittura di ortaggi con maionese al tartufo e aglio in fiore. Main dish - Pappardelle ai funghi e panna di tartufo, Torcelli salsiccia e porcini, Lasagna, Contadina, Spaghetti and meatballs, and two kids meals pizza and spaghetti and dessert of s’mores. We also ordered tiramisu for dessert for the first time and truthfully it wasn’t our favourite. We found it to be a bit “sour” in some spots and felt it was more whipped cream and less lady fingers and coffee flavours.

Buzo Osteria Italiana is amazing! If I could give more than 100 stars I would! Not only is the food impeccable but the service and hospitality is top notch. The staff was so attentive and detail oriented, making it a truly one of a kind experience. So if you want to have a fantastic experience you need to make reservations well in advance from what I was told.I'm already planning my next visit! Eveything was exceptional food quality, creative dishes, artful presentation, warm/inviting ambiance, and truly outstanding, attentive service by staff that makes guests feal valued From the stunning decor to the flawless service, every detail shone. My servers anticipated my needs before I did . A truly beautiful evening.Buzo Osteria Italiana is a culinary gem. Each dish was a work of art, bursting with fresh, bold flavors. Thank you chef. I rarely write reviews, but the team at Buzo deserves all the praise. Highly, highly recommend! I love the lively but relaxed vibe, and the staff always made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in, As a guest I appreciate quick & efficient service which the servers did by checking back after twenty minutes, to make sure everything was okay or needed ..I wish to thank Pplpp91 Mario, Dwayne, Shakeia( tiny waist) Bob(Rasta), Josh Nyasha Brown Juanita Ingreta Khaled(spelt wrong) Sherise Sorry for spelling your names wrong auto correct is to blame... lol Thank you for a fantastic night ..P.S i hope you guys get a big bonus you deserve it
