WARNING - Thieves and careless owner!
We stayed at this villa/resort for 10 days. Unfortunately, in the middle of the night burglars broke a lock, forced open a window and unlocked a door from the inside. While we slept they took all of our valuables, including phones, watches, laptops and jewellery. It was quite a shock, but we felt very fortunate that no one was hurt. Much to our surprise when we informed the resort owner and manager about the burglary not only did they fail to show any sign of compassion, but every time we spoke with them they callously made up new stories to explain why the burglary was actually our fault. The owner is far more interested in maintaining a false image, rather than actually being of service to his guests.
The resort is gated, but large areas of the rear compound are used as a junkyard making it easy for the burglars to climb over the fence undetected. The burglars apparently waited in one of the neighbour’s parked cars, casing the villas until the time was right. There is a security camera, but when the police inquired the owner confirmed that it doesn’t actually work.
We strongly advise not staying at this location. Not only is it dangerous, but the owner is only interested in his own gain.

Marriot Courtyard is just as marvelous in buildind sfyle, service professionalism a d courtesy as I am used of sister hotels of the chain. Friendly & reliable personnel, affordable prices, near to the best beach and Flaningo Airport
