Great holiday in a great place. Lots of things to see and do. Oistens fish market on a Friday is a must for fresh cooked fish a atmosphere. Love the reggae music too. All the people are so friendly. Go you'll be amazed how much you'll love it

not worth the price, breakfast only some days and you have to walk a distance to obtain it. poorly decorated, horrible beds, NOT CLEANED and you have to pay separate cleaning fee!! They turned water off completely to kitchen area and only had small SMALL cooler type refridgerator, no cooktop or oven, not enough dishes at all.

It is the worst staycation I had in my life. On arrival Friday after dialing the phone number that was advertised for the place . I was told that some one was on they way. A gentleman turn up who I later found out name was Shawn. Then a white lady came with a black dog. Who I discover was Sara one of the owners of Ferienwohnung Barbados - Bed and Breakfast. Don't know where the availability of the breakfast was. I was move to Room 2 after I couldn't get any internet in the room that I was booked for. Thought that my worries was over there but they had just started. I had to leave and get cash cause it would cost them $5000 for a machine which they are not interested in getting. Guess if you collecting cash and not issuing no receipts , then you don't need a machine. The television never worked from the time I went to that room up until I leave. On Saturday afternoon when I discovered that the television wasn't working and I dialed the number Sara husband answer and say that they were out collecting supplies and they would get to me in a hour time. I told him that the remote was not working and I needed a garbage bag that was about 4.30 in the evening. When I realized that it was almost 8pm and no one had come. I dressed to go to the restaurant Fort Maxwell which they also runs. As I was leaving I heard a voice and the person identify themself, it was Shawn saying that he went calling but he didn't hear anybody. I told him that I had asked about a garbage bag and that the television was not working. So we went back to the room, he checked but he didn't get it to work, plus the internet was not working good either. He said the guest up stairs told him that the internet was not working properly. We leave walking towards the restaurant then he said that he would asked his friend at Sunbay if they internet was working. I stopped waiting on him to find out what was happening, but he took a while so I continued to walk and I went to bougainvillea where I sat and had some drinks, while listening to the music there in order to take my mind off the ordeal. On my return I didn't not stop at the restaurant and when I called the number no one and. By the time I return to the restaurant it was closed. No one came back to me till Sunday when I heard a knock on the door and when I went I saw a lady who said that she was the house keeper. I told her to tell her boss that I am still waiting on the remote and Sara said to her that she doesn't know about it. It would have to be her husband and Shawn. But when I report the problem she and her husband was out shopping. I had staycation at home already but this was the worst I have ever experienced. The place is not what you see online. It needs plenty repair. They want to make money but not spend any. Then I had to begged to get a receipt for the money that I gave them. I could have stay at home cause rather than be stress free, I was so stressed out. When I was ready to leave on Monday I still didn't get any receipt and when I called the number no one answered. So when the housekeeper came I told her that I needed the receipt and he was telling the housekeeper to tell me that he will post it online. I told her to tell him I paid cash and I needed it in my hand. When she called him back he didn't answer and therefore she carried me to them. If you hear how he behaved I am sorry that it was not at the beginning of my stay, cause I would have saved myself my money. But never again. The place is run down.
