We stayed 2 weeks and we walked to Pebbles Beach most days, to see the horses swim at sunrise. Nora the lovely lady with the coffee stall was welcoming and she had fabulous coffee and oh yes, a biscuit! She worked tirelessly to keep the tourist safe by asking them to stand beyond the cones and not in the path of the race horses. Unfortunately some awkward people, refused to be asked for their own safety and were really rude to her. Remember she doesn't have to look after your safety. Thanks Nora!!
