We used akira for our engagement pictures (Jan 2024) and our wedding (August 2024). Engagement shoot was amazing, received all photos back in a timely manner. Our wedding has been a completely different story. We had a small rain delay that ultimately caused akira to leave the wedding before we even cut our cake at the end of the night. He said”his time was up.” I guess in the end, that doesn’t really matter because receiving our pictures has been a nightmare. He gave us the run around for a while and then admitted that something happened to his hard drive and all of our pictures from our reception are lost. We have received all pictures from getting ready, ceremony and family but NONE from our reception. He promised a refund for the time that pictures were lost, about 1 1/2 hours worth of pictures. Now it is almost a year since our wedding and we still have not received a refund. Akira has been ignoring our messages for around 2 months now. Last communication was beginning of May when he said we should have our refund by May 25, 2025. I understand things happen but we have been very patient in this unfortunate circumstance. Akira says he has had an injury preventing him from doing a lot but that does not mean we can be ignored nor not receive the refund that HE initiated since we will never get all of our pictures. This is completely unacceptable for a business. Do not use this photographer.

Akira Joseph has been one of the worst nightmare for our wedding. He took pre-wedding pictures for our registry wedding which he never delivered. We contracted the wedding video to him, again we haven't seen any footage. The wedding pictures he managed to give us was rushed and rough, not airbrushed. What we have for memories are the pictures we took using our phones. It's been over a year trying to get him to give us our remaining pictures and video or just come out and pay us back the money he collected. I won't recommend him. I have attached a photo taken with one of our phone showing the beach pictures being taken by Akira which we never received.

Akira is the one to go to no doubt! He went above and beyond what had been asked on my engagement photos to make sure the pictures were perfect. The pictures turned out absolutely incredible and he was super easy to work with. If you are wanting to get photos done choose Akira. 10/10 would use him again if we ever went back there.

Akira's the man. He is very helpful with poses and he is confident picking scenic and technically challenging shots. I booked him for an engagement shoot. The photos came out great and everyone was raving about them. So he was naturally the best choice to take our wedding photos! With Akira, you do not have to worry about the quality.

We booked Akira for our special day whilst in Barbados. Communication in the build up to our day was quick and clear. Akira outlined what we would receive and how long our booking would be for. My wife and I were very happy with the setup. On our wedding day Akira arrived at the Radisson Hotel resort and put our nerves at ease with his professionalism and enthusiasm. We couldn't of asked for anything better really. We had many photos taken in all various locations. The service was fast , very fast. We received our wedding photos before we actually returned home. The collection looked fantastic and we are so happy to have chosen Akira. Amazing from start to finish. You will not be disappointed.
