Probably the best supermarket we visited during our trip to Barbados. Very well stocked not as pricey. You can get pretty much anything from this shop. Fresh fruit and veggies, canned food, ice cream, drinks, snacks and alcohol. We were very satisfied.

A1 supermarkets is a fantastic supermarket on the island. Really good pricing and a lot of variety. Their bakery section is one of the biggest on the island. They always have a lot of tellers for checkouts so there's never a big wait. They have an excellent meat selection with many different types of meat, Chicken and fish. Twice as much meat as most other grocery stores. If you are used to shopping at Massey and want a better selection and better price, stop by a1 and you will not be disappointed.

Always good A1 service at this supermarket. There is also a deli here that offers some good delicious bajan food and reasonable prices. Newly added to the store is a hardware component where you can find the general hardware items.

Clean, huge supermarket, plenty options, love the bakery section, coffee bean dispenser options, went looking for paneer cheese and Greek yogurt, didn't find anything there, dairy options were limited, however they have goat milk on Wednesdays. Cashiers plentiful at the time I went so the check out process was seamless.
