Turtle Bottom Bar didn’t just become my favourite bar on the island — it practically claimed the title on day one. It’s the kind of place where strangers from the UK, USA, Trinidad and beyond walk in as visitors and leave as friends.
The food? Absolutely legendary. The fish cakes were dangerously good, and the chicken wings… let’s just say they deserve their own fan club. And then there’s Turtle Bottom’s signature rum sour — wow. One sip and I understood why “just one” is never the plan. That cocktail alone had me happily returning for encores.
To top it all off, Sheree, the owner, was the perfect host — attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. It’s rare to find a spot that gets everything right: the vibe, the flavors, the people. I didn’t just enjoy it — I adored it.

We found this lovely bar as stayed near by, you just turn left before you get to Wendy’s sports bar - such a welcoming atmosphere, Trevor and Sheree are beautiful people, great food on weekends - fish or chicken, home cooked and open every day. Come and try it, you won’t be disappointed

Funky little bar, locals all descend to watch sport too. Great banter. Family run, food excellent, fish cakes, chicken wings, ice cold beer, for not a lot of money - what’s not to love 👍

Found this bar last xmas and Trevor.and.his wife were lovely hosts. So welcoming and cheap beer. We will see you again sometime next week. Been too long! June and Freddie UK
