I really enjoyed the variety of options at The Cake Lady shop — there’s definitely a lot to choose from, and what I ordered tasted pretty good. The drink I got was honestly the highlight; super delicious. The shop itself is very cute with a lovely aesthetic, which made the experience even more appealing at first.
However, I do have to note that the customer service wasn’t great. The woman at the register was fairly rude, and it definitely affected the overall experience. It’s something worth mentioning for anyone planning to visit.
Overall, a cute spot with good options, but the service could be much better.

On my very first trip to Barbados with my mom, we had the absolute pleasure of visiting The Cake Lady Shop and it became one of the most memorable parts of our journey. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and kindness that went beyond what words can describe.
The lady who served us was truly one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. Whilst being unwell she was more than accommodating, I appreciate that. Her genuine care, warmth, and welcoming spirit made us feel like family. It was an emotional goodbye when we left, and her kindness will forever stay with me. I truly wish her nothing but health, happiness, and all the success in the world she deserves it all and more.
As for the food, every single dish was incredible. From the first bite to the last, I didn’t try a single thing I didn’t enjoy. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and everything felt made with love.
I can say without hesitation. We will be returning to, it will be our first stop! Thank you for making our trip so special. Thank you for everything and your words will stick with me ❤️

Lovely place on the Gap. It was a short drive or a walk on the beach from where we stayed.
The food was very good. They made my Dad a tasty gluten-free sandwich every day while he stayed with us. That was important for him.
I got a latte most days of our week-long visit to the island. We also got some other sandwiches (toasties or cutters), cakes, and bagels.
Wonderful people who were very nice even when I accidently started to walk out without paying after getting my order. I'm used to paying first and I forgot! Had a laugh with the shopkeeper about it. 😆

We stumbled across this place because I needed a good breakfast for my vegan diet....I cannot explain how much this beautiful lady went out of her way to accommodate me!
She is so kind hearted and the food is always spot on! The only place that fulfilled my desire for smashed avocado on toast.... And a good cup of English tea! 10/10 for her and her team. Always polite...If you're in the area please go and pay her a visit. You will not be disappointed.

Susan the owner of the coffe shop made a wedding cake for my niece, all arranged via WhatsApp. We asked for a vanilla cake with fruit on and Susan went over and above what we asked for and decorated it with fresh flowers too. It looked and tasted amazing!
We also ordered breakfast sandwiches for the day of the wedding for the whole party (13 of us) and these were ready as requested and tasted incredible too.
A big thank you to Susan and all of her staff I would heartily recommend a visit
