We rented with Stoutes Car Rental for a business trip and were very impressed. The pickup at the airport was smooth and efficient, with staff getting us on the road within minutes and making sure everything with the car was in order.
The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and reliable throughout our stay.
Halfway through the trip we realised we needed to extend our trip, and the process was handled quickly and easily by email, with staff even coming out to us to take care of the additional payment this saving us a trip to their office.
Stoutes is a family run company and it shows in the way they look after customers with genuine care and attention. We would happily rent from them again and highly recommend them to anyone visiting Barbados.

We had such a brilliant experience hiring a car with Stoutes. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and the whole team genuinely made our trip easier.
Special shout-out to Tico in the office — he was so kind and incredibly prompt with everything, from organising the hire to sorting the pick-up and even rearranging our drop-off. Nothing was too much trouble.
And Shamika, who dropped the car off at our AirBnB, was so lovely. She gave us loads of tips, chatted to us about life on Barbados while she waited for her lift, and just had such a warm energy. She set the tone for our whole week on the island.
The service itself was faultless. They were happy to change our pick-up location at the very last minute, and even tweak the drop-off time slightly — which honestly made the world of difference on our final day.
We’ll admit we were a bit overwhelmed at the thought of hiring a car in Barbados, and Stoutes actually wasn’t our first choice — we were leaning towards a smaller company at first. But knowing what we know now, we’d absolutely hire from Stoutes again and would recommend them without hesitation.

I rented a car for my holiday Barbados. I completed the process online, which was straightforward. Had to make a change to the booking which I did via email and Stoutes were very responsive. The process of collecting and returning the car was very smooth. Will definitely use again.

Efficient pick up and drop off, friendly and courteous staff. I had no reason to contact them during rental period, but I have every confidence their response would have been prompt and efficient.
The car was very clean on pick up and different from most hire companies the tyres were at the correct pressure. I would have no hesitation in recommending Stoutes or using them myself in the future.

Great company to rent from... the pickup and drop off process was seamless and very efficient. Location of the office is ideally situated near the arrivals exit.
The car we had was clean and economical in terms of petrol consumption. We chose a 5 seater SUV and was given the Suzuki Grand Vitara. The car was spacious but unfortunately lacked power on inclines!
