My husband and I went to St Nicholas Abbey in July 2021 for our honeymoon and bought a 5 year rum promising each other we would open it for our 5 year anniversary. We enjoyed it together yesterday and it brought us back to our honeymoon. We enjoyed our time in the Abbey, thank you for making our anniversary and honeymoon extra memorable. Hopefully we can return soon.

A really interesting day out. We were met by some great knowledgeable staff which included one of the owners who tries to meet every visitor as well as conducting the Rum tasting. After a very instructive commentated train ride to a beauty spot and back, we were handed over to a lovely lady who gave us a tour of the house and distillery with a fabulous history. The owners son Simon then conducted an amusing, enjoyable and tasty tasting. We then had lunch there in a most stunning setting with good food, wine at a reasonable price. All with a live steel drummer. Fantastic day well worth it.

Visited via a cruise tour , very knowledgeable guide takes you through the house and explains the history , then into the rum tasting room and more history , then through to the distillery with more explanation of the history and processes.
Lovely gift shop , toilets on site and a small cafe 🥃😎🌞👍🏻

Great tour and insighfulness of how rum first came to be made. From the first family that lived there to present.
Rum tasting, train ride and cafe to end a lovely day

Cool place to visit. It was a tough road getting in and out but you can see the owners are investing in the place to make it nicer. Overall a good tour and great views. You also get to test some rum.
