This Esplanade has always been a place for relaxing and enjoyment as it holds a special place in my heart since I was a child...where Elders hanged out playing board games and watched public television.
Over the years it has been restored and kept preserved as part of Speightstown's history, painted in the Island's national colors, it has good seating under a partially covered wooden roof and a pavilion...it's a perfect spot to catch the evening's sunset.
On occasions it's used to hold small events and meetings...arts and cultural activities, an all around lovely area with seaviews in historical Speightstown.
