This place shouldn’t be called the school. It’s a place where you pay half a million dollars to get zero support and training. You are on your own on day one. You might think that is a good thing, like I did, but trust me it is Not. It means you have to survive a 30 percent fail rate on your first semester because they took too many students, it means you have to attend rotation in part of the country where they might not speak English, it means not getting into the specialty of your choice and begging to get into something else, most likely primary care. Best to study for mcat even if it takes 3 years and then apply to a real school in USA. Getting into Ross might be easy but getting out is incredibly hard. You won’t be able to do what you want or what you want to practice, most people who go to Ross end up in primary care. I’m have nothing against primary care but going through that much horror to end up at the bottom of barrel is not worth it. Don’t waste your life on this school and if you don’t believe me go check out predatory lending, the school is on exhibit c for predatory lending. Thousands of people filing against them. Finally, you will always be a Ross graduate, and that’s nothing to be proud of despite all the difficulties to get residency after going to this scam school. Do yourself, your family and everyone a favor and think twice before giving away the best years of your life to this scam school.

It’s extremely disappointing that Ross Medical School in Barbados has chosen to schedule exams during 2025 Thanksgiving week, a major national holiday in the United States. The majority of students at Ross are from the U.S., and this decision disregards the importance of time with family and the cultural significance of the holiday. Many students have made considerable sacrifices to attend school away from home, and this was one of the few opportunities in the year to reconnect with loved ones. Holding exams during this period adds unnecessary stress and demonstrates a lack of consideration for student well-being and morale. The administration should reconsider this scheduling decision and show greater empathy and awareness toward the needs of its student body.

Think twice before you decide to go here. There is a reason why this school is not in the US and why most of these professors can’t teach in the States.
There are a few specs of light in this organization, but the harsh reality is, most of the professors are rude and unqualified and most of the staff acts like children. If you decide you want to send your child to an adult daycare, with unruly local culture, here you go.
I recall one semester where 3.5 weeks of lecture boiled down to a 37 question exam that was worth 25% of the grade that semester.
In addition the course material, rubrics, Formal assessments (FAs), etc. are poorly organized and have many gramatical errors. While these resources are quite informal, they comprise 90% of the grade.
The quality of the education in these for profit educational institutions is something students stateside should just see for what it is and steer clear.
If essence, here is a quick analogy. If you look for a hotel or restaurant and see a two star resort that is 20-25% more expensive than most 4.0-5.0 star resorts would you look to spend time there?

Would avoid this school, I graduated and am 2 months out from starting as as an attending, and got slapped with a random loan getting sent into collections that I wasn't aware of. Been trying to figure it out for 3 months with no headway with the financial delartment on the phone, and absolutely no response to emails. They did not work with me at all to resolve this issue, and its impossible to speak with a supervisor

Terrible, horrible school of lies! DO NOT GO HERE! Take an extra year and try anything you can do to get into a different school! There are no advisors, there is no help or even a phone number to call when something goes wrong—and something WILL GO WRONG! RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
